The objective of the course is to give an overall interpretation of the European integration process. It will highlight the history of the European integration, the EU-institutions and decision-making mechanisms. Special focus will be given to the institutional amendments in compliance with the Treaty of Lisbon. The course also will explain the structure and operation of the Single Market and the EU budget between 2007 and 2013 as well.
